TRADE NOTIFICATION
INTERMODAL FUEL CHARGE
November 16,2007
Our review for the costs associated with the movement of containerized Intermodal volumes over the last four week period ending November 12 2007,shows significant changes for Truck and Rail as well as the corresponding payments made to our Intermodal service providers. Those changes are represented by the spreadsheet entitled ‘Intermodal Zone Application’. For the remainder, adjustments are represented in the spreadsheet entitled ‘IFC City State’ which covers the major origin and destination cities.
These IFC adjustments will become effective on December 16, 2007 for Puerto Rico/Virgin Islands and effective December 23, 2007 for the Eastern Caribbean.
Due to these unprecedented cost increases, our IFC adjustments will be adjusted on a bi-monthly basis until we see some stabilization in fuel prices.
