PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

July 4th Holiday Schedule 2008

Dear Valued Customer:

The following is the Horizon Lines port schedules for the observance of the July 4th Holiday. In order to minimize impact to our customers and to maintain schedule integrity please see below:

The Jacksonville, FL, Elizabeth, NJ, Houston, TX and San Juan, PR terminals will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

Jacksonville Express Service (JAX)

• Horizon Producer voyage PD510S from Jacksonville to San Juan will depart Wednesday, July 2nd instead of Tuesday. Cargo cutoff will be Wednesday, at 1630 (4:30PM).
  
• Voyage PD510S will arrive in San Juan Saturday, July 5th instead of Friday with cargo availability starting in the morning and continuing throughout the day. Gate hours will be extended on Saturday for pickup of cargo until 1700 (5:00PM).
  
  
• Horizon Producer voyage PD511N from San Juan to Jacksonville will have a cargo cutoff on Saturday, July 5th at 1700 (5:00PM).
  
• Voyage PD511N will arrive in Jacksonville, Tuesday, July 8th instead of Monday with cargo availability starting in the morning and continuing throughout the day.
  
• Horizon Producer voyage PD511S from Jacksonville to San Juan will depart on schedule Tuesday July 8th. Cargo cutoff will be 1630 (4:30PM) on Tuesday July 8th.
  

South Atlantic Express Service (SAX)

• Horizon Trader voyage TO280N from San Juan to Jacksonville will have a firm cargo cutoff Monday, June 30th at 2000 (8:00 PM) in San Juan instead of Tuesday.
  
• Voyage TO280N will depart San Juan, Tuesday July 1st to Jacksonville.
  
• Voyage TO280N will arrive on Thursday night, July 3rd instead of Friday. The Jacksonville terminal will be closed Friday. Cargo will be available Monday, July 7th in Jacksonville.
  
  
• Horizon Trader voyage TO280S from Jacksonville to San Juan will have a cargo cutoff on Thursday, July 3rd at 1630 (4:30 PM) instead of Friday.
  
• Voyage TO280S will depart Jacksonville for an on schedule arrival in San Juan Monday, July 7th.
  
  
  

North Atlantic Express (NAX)

• Horizon Navigator voyage NV331N from San Juan to Elizabeth will have a firm cargo cutoff Monday, June 30th at 1800 (6:00 PM) in San Juan.
  
• Voyage NV331N will arrive on Thursday night, July 3rd instead of Friday. The Elizabeth terminal will be closed on Friday. Cargo will be available Monday, July 7th.
  
• Horizon Navigator voyage NV331S from Elizabeth to San Juan will have a cargo cutoff on Thursday, July 3rd at 1630 (4:30 PM) instead of Friday.
  
• Voyage NV331S will depart Elizabeth for an on schedule arrival in San Juan Tuesday, July 8th.
  
  

Gulf Atlantic Express (GAX)

• There will not be any impact to the Houston service. The Houston terminal will be closed on Friday, July 4th.
