Christmas Eve and Christmas Holiday Schedule 2007

Dear Valued Customer:

Below, please find Horizon Lines’ Christmas Holiday Schedule for 2007.  Our sailing schedules and Net Captain applications will be updated to reflect this information.  In order to accommodate the holiday port schedules, we will offer southbound service as necessary on Wednesday instead of our normal Tuesday service from Jacksonville.

Jacksonville, FL

Christmas Eve Day – Monday, December 24th, 2007

The APM Terminal in Jacksonville will be operating with Holiday gate hours on Monday, December 24th in observance of Christmas Eve Day.  Gate hours on Monday, December 24th will be from 0800-1200 and 1300-1500 (8AM-12Noon and 1PM-3PM)

Northbound Cargo discharging from Horizon Discovery voyage DI558N that is not picked up on by closing on Monday, December 24th will be available starting at 0800 (8AM) on Wednesday, December 26th.

Christmas Day – Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

The APM Terminal in Jacksonville, FL will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas.

Normal Operations - Wednesday, December 26th, 2007

Southbound service to San Juan will be provided on Horizon Lines voyage YU768S which will depart Jacksonville on Wednesday, December 26th, and arrive in San Juan Saturday, December 29th.  Cargo availability will commence in San Juan on Saturday afternoon, December 29th and continue through closing.  Gate hours in San Juan on the 29th will be from 0800-1200 and 1300-1800 (8AM-12Noon and 1PM-6PM).

Normal Operations – Thursday, December 27th, 2007

Normal Operations - Friday, December 28th, 2007

Horizon Hawaii voyage HI503S will depart Jacksonville on schedule December 28th and arrive in San Juan Monday, December 31st.  Cargo availability will commence on arrival on Monday, December 31st in San Juan.  Gate hours in San Juan on Monday, December 31st will be 0700-1200 and 1300-1800 (7AM-12Noon and 1PM-6PM)

Elizabeth, NJ

The APM Terminal in Elizabeth, NJ will be closed on both Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day, respectively.  There will be no changes to vessel schedules.

Northbound Cargo on Horizon Hawaii voyage HI502N arriving on Friday, December 21st that is not picked up on Friday the 21st will be available on Wednesday, December 26th.

Normal Operations will continue in Elizabeth from Wednesday, December 26th through the remainder of the week.

Houston, TX

Normal Operations – Friday, December 21st, 2007

Horizon Challenger Eastbound voyage CN448E to San Juan will depart Houston early on Sunday, December 23rd instead of Tuesday the 25th.  Cargo cutoff for voyage CN448E will be on Friday, December 21st at 1630 (4:30PM).  Cargo availability will begin in San Juan for voyage CN448E three days early; on Friday morning, December 28th instead of Monday the 31st.

Christmas Eve Day – Monday, December 24th, 2007

The APM Terminal in Houston, TX will be operating with Holiday gate hours on Monday, December 24th in observance of Christmas Eve Day.  Gate hours will be from 0800-1200 (8AM-12Noon)

Northbound Cargo arriving on Horizon Challenger voyage CN448W will be available starting at 0800 (8AM) on Monday, December 24th.  Any inbound cargo not picked up on Monday the 24th will be available on Wednesday, December 26th. 

Christmas Day – Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

The APM Terminal in Houston, TX will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas Day.

Normal Operations will commence on Wednesday, December 26th, 2007 and continue through the remainder of the week.

San Juan, PR

Normal Operations – Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

Cargo Cutoff for Horizon Challenger Westbound Voyage CN448W will be on Tuesday, December 18th at 1800 (6PM).

Christmas Eve Day – Monday, December 24th, 2007

The Horizon Lines Terminal in San Juan will be open with holiday hours on Monday, December 24th.  Gate hours on Monday, December 24th will be from 0700-1200 and 1300-1800 (7AM-12Noon and 1PM-6PM)

The Horizon Producer voyage PD481S will arrive from Jacksonville on schedule.  Cargo operations will commence on arrival and cargo availability will continue through the day.

The Horizon Producer voyage PD482N will depart for Elizabeth on schedule Monday, December 24th.

Cargo Cutoff for Horizon Hawaii NB voyage to Jacksonville, HI503N will be at 1800 (6PM) on Monday, December 24th.  The Horizon Hawaii voyage HI503N will arrive in Jacksonville for an 0800 cargo start on Friday, December 28th.

Christmas Day – Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

The Horizon Lines Terminal in San Juan will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas.

Normal Operations – Wednesday, December 26th, 2007

Cargo Availability for Horizon Hawaii voyage HI502S from Elizabeth will commence in San Juan at 0700 (7AM) on Wednesday, December 26th and will continue through the day.

Normal Operations - Thursday, December 27th

Normal Operations - Friday, December 28th.

Horizon Challenger voyage CN448E will arrive in San Juan for an 0700 (7AM) cargo start.  Cargo availability will commence in the morning and continue through the day.

Cargo Cutoff for Horizon Challenger voyage CN449W will be at 1800 on Friday, December 28th.

Normal Operations - Saturday, December 29th. 

Horizon Lines will have extended gate hours in San Juan on Saturday, December 29th.  Gate hours will be from 0800-1200 and 1300-1800.

Cargo availability for shipments arriving on Horizon Lines voyage YU768S from Jacksonville will commence Saturday afternoon, December 29th and will continue through the day.

Cargo Cutoff for Horizon Lines Northbound Voyage YU768N to Jacksonville will be at 1200 (12Noon) on Saturday, December 29th.  Cargo availability in Jacksonville for YU768N will commence on Wednesday, January 2nd.

Dallas, TX

Christmas Eve Day – Monday, December 24th, 2007

Horizon Lines Dallas Operations Center will be closed on Monday, December 24th in observance of Christmas Eve Day; however our Inland Dispatch, Documentation, and Customer Service departments will be adequately staffed to handle customer requirements that day.

Christmas Day – Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

Horizon Lines Dallas Operations Center will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas.
