PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Maintaining Current Bunker Fuel Surcharge for POL Jacksonville/ Port Everglades, FL

Dear Valued Customer:

Horizon Lines has decided to maintain the current Bunker Surcharge for our Puerto Rico Service. The scheduled bunker increase for JAX/PEV effective March 30, 2008 will not take place at this time.

For containers being loaded or discharged in Jacksonville, FL or Port Everglades, FL a bunker surcharge will remain at $520 per container.

Horizon Lines will continue to monitor fuel prices and make necessary and fair adjustments in order to minimize the effects to our customer base as a whole.
