GAX Schedule Update

Effective January 28th, 2009

Dear Valued Customer:

Horizon Lines would like to inform our customers of a schedule update concerning our Gulf Express (GAX) Service.

Northbound: We will now have sailings departing San Juan every other Thursday and arriving in Houston the following Thursday. This will commence after the departure of the Horizon Discovery, voyage DI562N which departs San Juan Wednesday, January 28th, 2009. Cargo cutoff for the DI562N will be at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 28th. Cargo cutoffs for subsequent Northbound GAX sailings will be at 6:00 PM on Thursdays.

Southbound: Sailings will continue to depart Houston, TX every other Friday with an arrival in San Juan on the following Thursday. This will commence with the Horizon Discovery, voyage DI562S which departs Houston on Friday, February 6th, 2009. Cargo cutoffs will continue to be at 4:30 PM on Fridays.
