Caribbean Shipping Services will adjust its Fuel SurchargeSeptember 2, 2005 The market price of oil has continued to rise over the last several weeks due to increasing demand, refinery problems, and tight supplies. After Hurricane Katrina's landfall this week, prices are only going to trend higher. We can no longer continue to absorb these increases. Effective September 4th, Caribbean Shipping Services will adjust its Fuel Surcharge. Please see the chart below for a listing by state.
Please note that this increase is in addition to whatever surcharge you may be paying at this time. This increase applies to all inland transportation moves with no exceptions including previously booked freight. We will evaluate fuel prices weekly and adjust our pricing accordingly.
