JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The very first shipment is being unloaded at the so-called "Port of Gold."
The deal between Jacksonville and two Asian companies, Mitsui and Hanjin, means millions and eventually billions of dollars for the First Coast.
Mitsui's first cargo ship arrived at JAXPORT Monday night.
Experts say the deals are worth $900 million to $1 billion each year for the city. That's like having three Super Bowls every year.
The port expansion will also help create 8,000 new jobs.
