March 8, 2010

The “Noble Ruler” is a life sized sculpture of an African Elephant. It was commissioned by San Juan’s new Wildlife Museum. The Noble Ruler is made of bronze, and will be the sculptural centerpiece displayed in front of the museum. It weighs 9,800 pounds, stands more than 15 feet high, is nearly 11 feet wide, and 30 feet long.

“We are more than honored to have been selected for this mission,” said Frank Peake, Sea Star Line president and CEO.

“Noble Ruler is a treasured item, requiring special care and attention, and destined for a special place,” Peake added. “We are truly privileged to play a role in bringing this spectacular work of art to this beautiful new museum and the people of San Juan.”
