Caribbean is currently seeking Owner Operators for our Jacksonville, Central FL, and South FL Location.
Job Responsibilities:
Drives and operates a delivery truck in a safe manner. Ensures load is within rated capacity of truck or trailer. Performs daily pre-trip inspections of delivery truck. Keeps daily drivers’ logs. Ensures that all paperwork, including bills of lading, match the equipment being transported. Obtains proper signatures.
Qualifications:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid Class A Drivers’ License and acceptable driving record are also required. Must have the ability to maneuver the delivery truck in many conditions, including backing in and out of dock areas. Must present a favorable company image to the customer. Must have three years of verifiable experience. Good written and verbal communication skills and customer care skills are necessary. Completion of a background check, physical, and drug-screen are required.
Compensation:
We offer a Sign on Bonus of $750.00. Caribbean offers competitive pay with as much as 94 cents per mile. We offer weekly settlements.
