Safety on the Road
Most Drivers were never taught how to share the road safely with tractor-trailers. Seventy to 75 percent of all truck-related auto fatalities are caused by the car driver, according to figures from the Department of Transportation and AAA - and 35 percent of these  occur in a truck's blind spots. For this reason, educating people about truck's blind spots, safe merging and stopping distances is
essential to highway safety.
